“We designed a bespoke item of joinery in the form of a Materials Library storage unit. This is a full height (2.5metres x 1.5 meters wide) white melamine unit with discreetly integrated undercut door grabs, and a comprehensive number of internal sub-compartments. The unit was designed using 3D software by us and the resulting model data was issued for tender to trusted supply chain partners. We have regularly collaborated with Tangible Contractors, and their tender response was accurate and timely. No modifications to the design were necessary, Lance and his team fabricated the furniture in good time and the assembly on site with his team was undertaken in a couple of hours.
The team worked efficiently and effectively, and the office where the item is located was left spotless. We are extremely pleased with the result and would not hesitate to collaborate again on the design and fabrication of more joinery items. We also plan on working together in future on larger construction projects, and we’ll be testing Lance and his team with more complicated joinery items!
